ABOUT ME

I enjoy creating things with my hands and expressing ideas through art. My interest in art comes from a deep appreciation for craft, materials, and storytelling. Through my work, I aim to explore the connections between the creative process, culture, people, and everyday experiences.

I am currently an eighth-grade student at Singapore American School. Growing up in Shanghai, Seattle, and Singapore has given me a global perspective that strongly influences how I think and create. Drawing is the foundation of my artistic practice, and I especially enjoy sketching and digital art. Recently, I have also started exploring animation as a way to bring stories to life through movement.

Music is another important part of my life. I have studied piano from a young age, and I also play the double bass. Learning music has taught me patience, focus, and how to express emotion in different ways.

In addition to art and music, I enjoy sports. I play lacrosse and also participate in rock climbing and golf. These activities help me build discipline, resilience, and balance in my life.

Through all of these experiences, art remains a central space for reflection, creativity, and meaningful growth, and I look forward to continuing to develop my skills and ideas in the future.
