My artistic journey

I have been interested in art from a young age, with more focused development beginning in sixth grade through studio art classes. During this time, I learned the fundamentals of light, shadow, and form. Drawing continues to be a regular practice for me, and I am currently focusing on human anatomy to improve accuracy and depth.

I enjoy studying art and learning from different styles and movements. My artistic influences include Impressionism and Ukiyo-e, especially the works of Claude Monet and Utagawa Hiroshige. Their use of light, color, and atmosphere has influenced how I approach composition and storytelling in my own work.

My work has received recognition, including the Gold Prize at the SGIOCC 2024 Children’s Award, the Silver Prize at the SGIOCC 2025 Youth Award, and First Place in the Embracing Nature Art Competition at the Affordable Art Fair (Children’s Category). These experiences continue to motivate me to grow, experiment, and explore new ideas in my art practice.
